The Bell Witch Ok, Ok, Ok.... I've now dumped the 1st paragraph out and hopefully all my friends will go to Mr. Fitzhugh's site and read his account of the The Bell Witch. This is a great story written by someone who is not very nice,and hopefully ya'll will not think that everyone from the South or Tennessee is like this man, because WE ARE NOT! ( thanks Snugglebritches) The majority of us are kind and know how to show true southern hospitality and manners. Evidentially, his mother didn't teach him true Southern manners. Please go to the sites listed below for the full story. This is just down the road from me in Middle Tennessee. I have never visited Adams, TN but have every intention of getting more information regarding The Bell Witch. It's truly amazing what Mr. Fitzhugh as written. Why would you even do such a thing? Do you feel that the US Copyright Law doesn't apply to you? Do you think I posted the anti-copyright warning just for health and amusement?
Remove said article from your blog immediately and without hesitation. If I see it the next time I check, I will pursue this matter further. This is the first and only notice that you will receive from me.

It's a great story and I wouldn't have found it if you hadn't put it here.
Ok all... I made a HUGE mistake. I asked for permission but didn't wait for his response. I did all that I was suppose to do... giving credit, etc. Will wait and see. I have e-mailed him again. Waiting on his response. Will probably have to take it down, but if I do, I will leave the links for everyone to go to his site.

If I had been the one to write something of this nature and some thought it was well worth the posting, and that person did give the credits, I would have said absolutely nothing. I guess it takes all kinds in this world.
I bet his mother is so proud of the fine gentleman she raised and how he conducted himself here.
I might have been interested in his work before but hmphf--leaves me cold.
