Mo has said the Manic Monday word is BLUE. Thanks Mo... When I first saw this the first thing that popped into my mind was the NCAA No. 1 Men's Basketball Team. Yes, that's right I'm talking about the UNIVERSITY OF MEMPHIS TIGERS!!!!!! GO BLUE!!!! The University of Memphis squad remain the ONLY unbeaten team in the nation ... Currently they are 21-0 overal and 6-0 in conference play. They are ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press poll and No. 1 in the ESPN/USA Today poll. They will remain No. 1 as they beat UTEP on Saturday. It's not like the Tigers haven't made enough history already this season. With Coach Caliparis' eighth 20-win campaign overall, moving past former Memphis great Larry Finch seven 20-win season. Coach Cal is the only coach in Tiger basketball history to direct his squad to eight consecuitve 20 win campaigns. With the victory over UTEP Saturday, the Tigers broke the program's best ever start at 21-0. The last time the Tigers started off with this record was the 1985-86 season. That squad also began the year with 20-0 record before losing its 21st games at Virginia Tech on February 1, 1986. It's the season of the Tigers .... GO BLUE!!!!!!!
