A little update of what's been going on...

since the last time I posted ... and yes I know it's been a while but gosh darnit y'all, I've been B-U-S-Y!!! Busy beyond belief.

Let me rewind wayyyyy back to August 4, 2008, I officially started back to school, online, through the University of Phoenix. I absolutely love doing this online school stuff! At the end of my second quarter, December 21, 2008 I am sitting on a 3.75 GPA... whoop! whoop! If anybody has ever had any doubts about going back to school online, DON'T ... I find so much easier than going to an actual campus and the biggest PLUS of all... I can go to school in my PJ's... ;-)

October 18, 2008 ... Tony, Kaitlin and I took a road trip to Hot Springs, AR where we picked this amazing little 4 year old boy... Tyler or Ty-weezy as he is better known...

I'm telling you... this little boy is the brightest red apple of any grandma's eye... he is the most loving child I have ever been around... and as they says "kids say the darndest things" ... no truer statement has EVER, EVER and I mean EVER been made.

November 11, 2008 ... Kaitlin, Tyler and I head to Nashville to pick up this beautiful young lady from the airport.

Isn't she just beautiful??? I guess I'm a little partial to her... see she is my new daughter-in-law...Ty-weezy's mother...Matt's new wife. We were so very excited to have her staying with us through Thanksgiving, which by the way was wonderful. She flew out of Nashville on November 29 because Matt, as you know, was returning from his deployment.

On December 1, 2008, they made it official and legal and became LCpl & Mrs. Matt C.

Oh and I'm still doing the school thing during all this and working full time and taking care of a 4 year old and taking care of a 13 year old and so on and so forth ...

Finally... December 24 I got to see my son ... and here is a picture of the happy new family... Christmas Day 2008 at my mother's house. They didn't get to stay home for long because he had to be back on December 27... it's okay I'll take what ever the Corps will let me have.

Ty-weezy stayed with Mimi(moi) and Poppa T(Tony) until Christmas... I sure miss him... I think I even miss him more than I do my own son... ;-)

Oh, I must not leave out Kaitlin ... now known to all as KaiKai. I will be the very first to tell you that 13 year old has been keeping us on our toes... she's giving us a run for our money...she is growing up way to fast and I fear that Poppa T will have to put the shotgun next to the door real soon ... if you know what I mean.

So.... that is just a tad of what's been going on... I've missed everyone terribly. I can't promise that I will post on a regular basis..I don't have Tyler but I still have Kaitlin and I'm still working full time and going to school... so if you don't see me around you'll know why.

Dear Friends

Always remember when the road is long at the end of the day and you have stressful things happening at work and you are just about ready to throw up your hands and shout….I give up!
