Something that Kaitlin posted on her myspace

I was on Kaitlin's myspace page and found this that she posted. Needless to say I was in tears. I have copy and pasted directly from her myspace. She NEVER ceases to amaze me... I truly love my crazy cooky daughter...

Now remember she didn't write this herself. Not really for sure who did... however, I do believe that she changed it from either a wife or mother to a sister...

THIS IS FOR YOU BUBBA

You think you know me, But you haven't the slightest clue.

I'm the girl standing behind you in Line at the grocery store.

Eyeing the new "Support our troops" Magnet while paging through the latest issue of Cosmopolitan.

The look on her face is complacent and her thoughts are thousands of miles away on some military base she's only been verbally described of over the phone.

I'm the young Lady in the next car with the windows rolled up and tears in her eyes because the local country station is currently playing "Letters from Home".

I'm the girl who visits The Marine Corp website at odd hours of the night to find some kind of comfort for that lonesome feeling that has settled in the pit of her Stomach.

I'm the girl who will willingly sacrifice her family, her home to follow a brother clear across the country.

I'm the young woman who swells with pride every time she sees her Marine Bubba standing tall in his dress blues.

I'm the one who spots a Marine sticker, license plate, or flag and feels a connection with its owner.

I'm the young woman who tries her hardest to go about her everyday life.

I am the young woman who tries to concentrate during her classes and tries her best not to cry.

I am the young woman who closes her eyes and pretends that the brother she loves is right there beside her .

I am the young woman who tries not to miss him.

The girl… who tries not to cry whenever she hears his name or even mention of marine, troops or soldiers.

I am many things… A daughter… … A cousin… A niece… A friend… A student... But most importantly…

I AM THE SISTER OF A UNITED STATES MARINE.

The sound of church bells

Upon hearing that her elderly grandfather had just passed away, Katie went straight to her grandparent' s house to visit her 95-year-oldgrandmother and comfort her.

When she asked how her grandfather haddied, her grandmother replied, "He had a heart attack while we were making love on Sunday morning.

Horrified, Katie told her grandmother that 2 people nearly 100-years-old having sex would surely be asking for trouble.

"Oh no, my dear," replied granny. "Many years ago, realizing our advanced age, we figured out the best time to do it was when the church bells would start to ring. It was just the right rhythm. Nice and slow and even. Nothing too strenuous, simply in on the Ding and out on the Dong.

"She paused to wipe away a tear, and continued,

"He'd still be alive if the ice cream truck hadn't come."
